Lion OSX Dual Monitor Problems

I'm running a new Mac Pro 6 core Xeon with 16 GB of memory and dual monitors and since I upgraded to Lion my displays are acting nuts... periodically going black or blue or making my desktop items collect on my primary display... It's disrupting my work flow and I have been searching for some sort of fix other than reverting back to leapord as I have soooo much data that it would be too insane.... can any body help?
