Hello,

I am currently running Snow Leopard, and I want to install Lion on my iMac. I don't want to have to do a clean install and I was wondering that if I installed Lion straight over the top will all my Outlook data (contacts, emails, folders) stay untouched? I presume all my user accounts will stay untouched though?
Thank you in advance for and advice or solutions. :)

Yes I have done that upgrade and Outlook data was fine. To be safe, you should export your OLM file to a backup device just in case. Your user accounts will also be the same.

Many thanks for the reply, and where would I find the PST file? Just to clarify you could continue using outlook completely normally without any problems after the upgrade?
Thanks,

Sorry I meant OLM file. PST file is want you import when you're coming from Windows to Mac.

Just go to the File menu in Outlook 2011, then Export. Yes Outlook was completely fine after upgrade.
