Lion Preview Slideshow actual size possible?

I like to use the slideshow feature of Preview in OSX Lion to display images and documents. Many of these documents are smaller than the native resolution on my 27" display.

Is there any way to make Preview display the images / files in actual pixels rather than stretch them to fit the screen? Many smaller images get stretched to fill the screen. I know I can use Lightroom or iPhoto, but Preview is a simple select and click operation...much more convenient. It only does this in slideshow mode, and not in the full screen mode.
