lion purrs, not roars

Has anybody else noticed that some, not all programs, sound quieter in lion?

what do you mean by quieter? Do you mean the machine itself? or the sound from the apps themselves? I still have not really had the chance to play with my Lion yet- mainly only safari but dont fully understand what you mean.

the sound. XBMC is quieter too. iTunes seems fine.
