Hey guys here is my problem. On my computer I followed apple's instructions to create a clean install of Lion Server. I had two hard rives, one with the mac os x lion with the server app on it and then used the mac install disc to create a "target hard rive" where it was a clean install of the server from scratch and before all the setup junk. After the target hard drive finished i shut the computer off and booted into lion with the server and used a net restore to create a disk image of the target hard rive. My problem is I want to put the os X lion server in a vm so I can't do it over the internet like you're suppose to with net restore and I would like to take just the dmg to use as the installer files. is this possible like it was with Lion to just use the ESD file? The problem is all the dmg files don't work that way. Help please?

The current files in my image folder that was created from the net restore are a folder called i386
NBimageinflo.plist
netinstall.dmg

Thanks in advance
