In previous versions of OS X you were able to search for hidden files by adding "File Invisible" & "System Files" to the search criteria.

For some reason this is no Longer working in Lion. Either that or my spotlight index is screwed up.

Can anyone else confirm this?

To test do a search for .bash_history or .DS_Store with Invisible/System added to the criteria.

Lion Spotlight hidden file search broken?

Lion Spotlight no longer offers system file (where is it located?) information...however place cursor over the selected item to highlight and press Command i to open the Get Info window showing the file location and details.

I'm having the same issue and was googling when hit this post.

It's very annoying to me since I depend frequently on finding hidden files.
Got a zip full of .svn folders and I have no way to delete them easily :(
