Lion/Time machine issue

Lion has hidden the user library, now requiring the option key in Finder to make it visible. This does not work when trying to restore a Library file from Time Machine.

Is there a way to restore a folder from User>Library from TM?

Open the library folder in the Finder window and then click the Time Machine icon in the dock.
