Ever since updating to Lion the trash is excessively slow. I'm not even sure if it's working or stuck. It says there are 140 things to delete, but 24 hours later and it's still stuck at 140 things... 
Tried fixing permissions but no joy.
The program 'TrashIt' does not work with Lion. Holding down the Option key while trying to empty the trash doesn't work either.
Anyone know of any programs that can empty the trash?
