After upgrading my new MacBook Pro's OS from Snow Leopard to Lion I found that I couldn't attach files to my Hotmail emails and that attempts to send the email would "freeze" the session.

After two weeks of futile effort trying to resolve the problem via Windows Live or Hotmail resources, I finally resorted and relied on a sympathetic and resourceful Apple Technician who after much interactive work between us and my MacBook Pro laptop, found the solution.

The problem was when I upgrade my SL OS to Lion, I could no longer attach files or jpeg images to my emails, while I had no problem doing so with my iMail and GMail accounts.

The final solution after several failed processes was to completely delete the "Silverlight" from my hard drive. This was accomplished selecting the application and performing a "command/delete" fuction.

All is working well and thanks to Apple technician, Steve M.
