lion wont install on my macbook

Hi My son bought lion from the appstore and it says he can also install on up to 5 computers. I have repeatedly tried to upload onto my macbook after he logs in as himself on his account and it won't download. It say its downloading, but it never does. One time it said there was an error downloading.

Remove the /username/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/ folder and the /Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/ folder. Restart the Mac and try again. This is how I fixed it on my Mac.

Have you updated to 10.6.8 or are running 10.6.6 which is when the Mac App Store was first introduced? If not 10.6.8, update and then retry the download.
