A few days ago I posted that I had performance issues with Lion. I did the install per the instructions for someone who has 10.6.8 installed. After a couple of days of being frustrated with the 'stickiness' and beach balls I was experiencing, I reinstalled Lion and, voilà! All is good.
Not sure why the reinstalled addressed the performance issue but I am officially happy with the roaring Lion.
