i recently (after june 6) bought a new MBP and i'm eligible for a free lion update. but, can anyone tell me what i need to do? do i need to sign up somewhere or will my MBP do the upgrade automatically or ...?

When Lion is released head here and there will be details about upgrading to Lion.

I'm in the same boat. Not worried about it.

I can't wait to see how this plays out. I bought a new Macbook Pro 2 1/2 weeks ago. From Amazon.com. 3rd party reseller, fulfilled by Amazon, with Prime shipping. I'm guessing since I didn't buy it from Amazon specifically, I probably won't get the free upgrade. Who knows?
