lip-sync problem while playing video through VLC player

just updated my KEF LSX to the latest firmware which supports airplay2, but there is a lip-sync problem while playing movies through VLC player on my imac pro. can it be fixed?

no problem with itunes/quicktime or watching youtube on google chrome,
