I spilled soda over my keyboard and now many of the keys don't work. Anyone experience something similar how much did it cost to fix ... excuse the poor punctuation

You should never really be drinking soft drinks next to a mbp, unlike water It will stick!

Anyways, you caaaaann try....

1. Running the mb keyboard over water from the tap - getting as much soda out as possible

2. Shake and dry the mbp

3. Wrap around and place in a bag of rice for at least 3-4 days - rice will help to absorb moisture out from the mbp and remember do not attempt to turn on the mbp during the process

Hope this helps, and best of luck

great - tried turning on the laptop and it's as dead as a brick :/ was working fine just a couple hours ago.

well duhh, liquids and macbooks dont mix

you should have not place drinks near a macbook its common sense

u should have a gotton a keyboard cover which would have saved your computer

honestly, theres not much you can do. apple doesnt cover accidental damage (u can try but its doubtful they will do anything other than atempt to repair it and charge u 500 bucks or something)

the only thing i can see u can do....is buy another macbook
