Hi all,
So recently I was with a friend and she wanted to quickly borrow my 15" rMBP to check her mail, which I let her do. Unfortunately she had a drink nearby and spilt it. Luckily it didn't get in the keyboard, and since my rMBP has a case on, I'm fairly certain it didn't get inside the computer as the case raises it up slightly.
However, a little bit of the drink did land on the right hand speaker grille. I wiped it off, and switched off my computer and left it for a few days just to be sure, since I heard that the speaker grille was laser cut and the liquid is too large to actually seep through (it didn't seem to in my case either).
Today, I noticed some crackling in the speakers (both sides, and relative to how loud the song was) twice within 10 minutes. It has stopped, but I'm wondering - could that liquid have done damage to the speakers?
Thanks!
