I connect my iPhone 15 Pro Max to my 2019 Honda CRV via USB A to USB C. I’ve been using CarPlay for about 3 months now with no issues. My phone sits on the center console tray and the cable (USB A) connects to the car under the tray. CarPlay works fine. Today however, I was driving along and I got a loud beeping sound and a popup warning on my phone. It said “Liquid Detected” and had instructions below that warning. I got off the road and checked the cable connection at both ends and the phone USB Port. NO LIQUID!!! Where the phone sits makes it impossible for any liquid to get in. I reconnected and drove a few more miles. Got the same warning again. When I got home I connected my phone to my iPad (iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen attached to Magic Keyboard) using USB C-C. I got the warning again. This time I took a screenshot. I use compressed air can to blow out the phone port. There seems to be no more problem but I don’t know if that is a genuine “Warning” or some kind of virus/malware?!?! In order to take the screenshot I had to tap on the “Emergency Override” on the screen. Over 10 years of iPhone use and never a problem. Does anyone know if this is a real warning or not?

Probably just a glitch fixed with the compressed air.

Now for the real interest: That’s the name of the band and song in the photo? 😀

Compressed air seems to have fixed it. I found an article in Apple Support that talks about the warning. It is valid. Could be moisture or a defective cable.
Now the important part. The band is "The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band". A band out of the late 60s early 70s. Crazy, weird music. Album is called "Gorilla". Not sure what song I was listening to at that time. They have several albums.

The song is "I'm going to bring a watermelon to my girlfriend today ". That should give you an idea of what their albums are like. If you like them, find "The Asylum Street Spankers"

Thanks and here is one for you:

[Edit] Ok - I had a listen - not what I was expecting. But I hear horns - what the youth of today needs is more horns in the music!

Culprit is likely a crap cable.

Unlike Lightning, a USB-C cable connector has a bunch of fine pins. If those pins become loose or bent, they can short out, making iPhone think it's water.
