We all know Apple leads and other follow on UI/UX design (for better or for worse). Post Liquid Glass influence you've already noticed others adding to their designs for no reason. I'll preempt responses by saying I'm aware Apple didn't invent transparent design elements. But apple does get to dictate when these things go in and out of style.
