Has anyone else had charging issues with the iPhone 17 Pro Max?
After updating to iOS 26.2, I get a “liquid detected in charging port” notification every morning.
First, I ran a remote diagnostic with Apple Support. They said the device is fine, but they did notice incorrect charging logs. They then advised me to gently clean the charging port using a small piece of cloth and a pin.
After that, I took the phone to an Apple Authorized Service Provider. They opened the device and confirmed there was no liquid inside.
However, after another night in Sleep mode, I woke up to the same liquid detection notification again.
Apple Support’s next step was to reset all settings. I’ve just done that and I’m going to sleep now, curious to see what the phone shows in the morning.
