I just bought an iPhone 6 Plus that stopped powering on. I was told by an AppleCare that there are 3 Liquid Sensors in the phone (she could only reveal the one in the SIM area) and that two are inside the phone somewhere (no longer in the headphone jack). I see there is one on the upper front of the logic board, but can't find the third anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated!

From iFixit:

There are water sensors through out the iPhone 6. One in the headphone jack, one in the dock connection, as well as a larger sensor inside the phone on the logic board. There isn't a way to replace them without leaving minor tools marks that will show the screws have been used.

I know you said AC told you different about the headphone jack, but that's just what I found in my searching.

There isn't one in the dock connector, therefore that source is invalid.

so it has liquid sensors, so if i drop an iPhone six plus it has a higher chance of survival than a 5?

i realized it is something different lol
