Apple bought the rights for LiquidMetal some time ago. LINK
So far the only thing we have seen is a tiny little sim-tray tool where some are made from liquid metal (taiwan made) and some are stamped steel (china made). I never heard anything about it.

I have not a shred of evidence for it, but I do hope the back of the iPhone 5 will be made from LiquidMetal...

Last time Apple made something out of liquid metal it ended VERY badly...

LOL, that would be one bad ass iphone :D

but more serious, I had a Vertu made from liquid metal, but that was a wicked phone. Well, build wise, because it lacked a bit in the functions department.
