There was also an episode earlier this season (the one with all the iPod parodies and everything) where, in the totally unrelated subplot, Homer turns on a notebook and is greeted by the standard chiming noise.
There's also a lot of episodes where, if you look at computer screens, more often then not the "OS" they're using is based off of OS 8/9 (even an episode from two years ago ["Marge Gamer", season 18), Marge is using a notebook with something that looks suspiciously like OS 9...is that even possible these days? :p)

That's a neat scene, and kinda funny considering I was actually just about to go and watch this episode :p
For once it actually fully looks like an Apple product (except it's coloured to look like the aluminum model, yet the back isn't black...)

I'm reminded of this from the Simpsons:

How about season 2 episode 4 "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish" when Smithers is doctoring up Mr. Burns photo on a mac.

Burns: Put more apple in my cheeks
Smithers: It's appling now sir.

That was almost 20 years ago!

I remember that

I also remember the feMac from Season 4.

That episode's from Season 17 (it's called "Bart Has Two Mommies" if you want to look it up if you don't believe me :p). You can tell the new episodes from old mainly because the older ones have somewhat choppy, hand-painted animation. The new ones (Season 14 onwards) are digitally coloured, just like the frames you posted.

Come to think of it, they didn't have iMac G4's in 1995 :p:p

I wonder why I said 4...

That's an Apple product?

It-It's not... thin..... It's not... it's not.... IT HAS A MATTE SCREEN :eek::eek:

Sorry, I had one of my moments.

lol if you didnt know lisa was an apple product... my gosh..

was a pretty big thing!! it was a really good computer. kinda.. had mixed results.

i am going to recommend that you study the program MacTracker

I didn't know there was a new Simpsons series starting up...

Renewed until at least Season 23, it's FOX's cash cow, even if it's not the same quality as it once was...

EDIT: Haha, that Lisa thing made me laugh out loud. :p

This made me laugh. :D

I remember there was an episode of The Simpsons when Springfield Mall gets a 'Mapple Store' (there was a thread about it). Lisa was saying how she will never afford a MiPod or any Mapple Product. Well, now look at her!

haha yes i remember that thread too, havent seen the whole episode - saw the Mapple scene though. it was pretty hilarious!

I just think it's awesome that with a name even as common as Lisa (not to mention The Apple Lisa) when I saw this I immediately thought it would be Lisa Simpson. Who would have thought that a semi-satirical prime-time cartoon would be this successful for 20 years?
