I'm sure many of you notice how most apps have an odd magnified blurriness to them compared to preloaded apps that are optimized such as safari.

Which 3rd party apps have been updates so far for the 6 / 6+ screens? I've only noticed Twitter so far...

I'd like to find this out as well. I was using Pocket (Read It Later) and the text is quite blurry. I tweeted them and they asked me for screenshots, so I sent them comparisons of iBooks/Safari vs Pocket (both serif and sans-serif).

I think we're just gonna have to wait it out for some of our favorite apps.

Here are some third-party ones that I know are not blurry:
  • Evernote
  • Day One
  • Alien Blue

Which third party apps are optimized for iPhone 6/6 Plus display?

So far it looks like Twitter, CNN, and Pinterest are optimized.. correct me if I'm wrong. Any others? I'm just dying to see some more third party apps some small, sharp text lol.

Twitter doesn't look bad, but it says optimized for iPhone 5. Interesting.

Notes, Camera, Phone, Messages, Safari, Photos, Music, App Store, iTunes, Voice Recorder, iTunes Store, Weather, Calculator

Is Facebook & Instagram updated? I hope not, because it looks terrible. I only ask because when I got my 6 on Friday, those Apps had an update. I didn't have iOS8 on my 5s, so I figured it was an iOS8 update not a 6/6+ update.

Chrome updated today and claims "ios8 compatibility" but it still looks blurry on my ip6.

Yeah, it seems a lot of apps are doing this. iOS 8 will be their first focus (as iOS 8 on the 5s is causing some apps to break), then they will release for the larger screen sizes.

It was one of the best to-do list apps back in the day. They've finally rewritten and redesigned the whole thing to match the iOS 7 design aesthetic, and from what I can tell it seems to be optimized for my iPhone 6 Plus. It doesn't look as blown up as other apps, and the side column expands when rotated into landscape. It's going to be great once other apps are able to take advantage of the extra screen space!

definitely surprised by the lack of Tier 1 apps that are updated (fb, instagram, BofA, Netflix, etc..)
