What's the point of this thread you say? If beta 6 is nothing but stability and the GM is released this will basically be a changelog. This isn't between betas, this is from iOS 6 to iOS 7. This is what the end-user who hasn't been following the betas will notice

So let's get started.

  • Two bars at the top and bottom of the lockscreen
  • New slide to unlock arrow
  • no more bars for the camera icon
  • Dots instead of signal bars

  • Siri has a new voice and is redesigned

  • Missed section of NC center shows all alerts that happened on the same day you're accessing it.
  • Messages displays symbols instead of words such as call, facetime, and contact information

This thread is pointless. Apple makes a change log when the release the update to the public and you can even go to Apple's website to see the main new features. Additionally, there are countless other threads discussing what's new.

You're absolutely right. That's why I said this thread is not between betas. The only thread I see on the front page is all the little things, which I'm sure everyone would rather not read through.

Look at the very first post of the little things thread. I'm sure we all pretty much know what's new by now since most of us have been using it for weeks and months now.

and a lot of people haven't seen the keynote or browse macrumors. We still have people coming here asking how to get it on their phone, this little community does not constitute everyone.

Again, read the first post of the Little things thread, it highlights iOS 7 all together and by each beta.

I totally agree. I'm with you on this.
 
Don't know if anyone used this function in iOS 6, but it's missing in iOS 7 thus far. I'm still hopeful that they will bring it back. I used to be able to pick a particular genre and shuffle the contents of that genre to play. Now you can only choose an artist or album of that genre to play and then shuffle that. I want to be able once again to shuffle, a country or pop genre with all the artists in the genre.

Where can this be addressed?

Yes, 1x is basically a CDMA 2G type of technology and Apple changed to actually show that's what's being used rather than their own custom 'o' that wasn't really understood by many as it's not an industry standard nor really has any meaning beyond what Apple came up with.

Would be nice if Apple dropped their whole new custom thing for signal strength in iOS 7 and used the industry standard that everyone knows and understands. No need to change something that doesn't really need changing and doesn't really become any better with the change.
