iPad List of Nicest specific Leather Folio Cases

This is now becoming an age old question in the world of the iPad. Cases.

I am looking for a slim sturdy leather folio style case with a stylus holder and maybe space for cards or small notes. It seems the high end companies come close to what I want but leave out simple things like a stylus holder (Vaja) and or prop up angles for typing or movies on a plane. Then there are these companies doing strapped belting leather cases that weigh more than a laptop computer. At the other end, flimsy cases from Targus, Belekin and others that still manage to get priced at $60.00 plus. I snagged a Sena case to hold me over at BB this no stylus holder and magnets that look like they are about to burst out of the cover, right out of the box!

I would put the budget for this search at about $200.00 Low enough so that I dont want to kill myself when the iPad 5 comes out in March with an all new form factor and snap on Keyboard.

Portenzo has a leather-covered book-style case. I don't have one, but I may buy shortly; the reviews are mostly good.

I have ordered the Kavaj Berlin case for my iPad Mini. I have not received it yet so I can't really say if it is good or not. However, it looks good and seems to be very slim.

They make cases for all of the iPads and you may be interested in the London case as it has a stylus holder.

Thanks SimonBS for pointing me in the direction of the Kavaj London case. It ticks many of the boxes I had listed for the perfect folio case. However it just seems a little too thin. There's not going to be much shock absorption due to the lack of hard backing on the rear.

Appreciatively it will be easier to carry round so I can see the product appealling to the mini user more so than the full size iPad.

At the moment I'm tempted with the SGP Folio.S case but it isn't cheap

The SGP Folio.S looks good but depending on how picky one is, one might say that it doesn't cover enough of the iPad. Personally, I don't like that there's really no protection for the corners. However, it does look neat

True, good point. But from what I've seen on YouTube videos the front and rear hard backing would come into contact with a surface before the exposed corner edge. Is a concern tho for all-round maximum protection.

The design looks similar to how a hardback book would feel. Which has merits.
