Thought it may be useful if the first wave of Lion users listed any bugs they've noticed with the new OS, or any applications that are behaving strangely since the upgrade. It may help spot common faults, or help people who are considering an upgrade but are worried their apps don't work.

Why not file bugs directly with Apple?

Well people can still do that, but it might help others searching the forum trying weigh up whether its worth taking the plunge and upgrading
