Just wondering, I go out walking several times a day, not hill walking or anything, just around the town for some light exercise. I usually listen to music through AirPods connected to my iPhone. I also wear my Apple Watch to track my steps.

Is there a way I can listen to my iTunes collection without my phone on me? Unsure if I could use my watch with a sim or something like that?

Any help appreciated.

You can add music to your watch through the Watch app on the iPhone (or through the Music app on the watch if you have Apple Music).

If you want to stream music, then you would need a cellular Apple Watch with a data plan.

Thank you so much, this works exactly how I need it. Being honest, I want as few valuables on me as possible so as not to attract the wrong sorts, society being what it is these days. Thanks again.

Next I'm going to look up eSIMs and shared plans to use across my phone and watch.
