Listening to radio on ipad

Hi guys/girlz, I'm not having much luck trying to listen to live streaming or downloaded audio files from radio national (abc) in Australia . I'm new to apple. I tried to download realplayer but get the error message "safari can't download this file" . Can anyone help me pse

Check out the Pocket Tunes app. It streams hundreds (thousands?) of radio stations, including more than a dozen different ABC stations from Australia.

ooTunes. Not the prettiest interface, and no iPad specific version, but it gets just about everything.
