Right side of wrong
ok, so i finally got my lists like i want them. i want to use pages for notes instead of word or anything else.....

so how can i make it where when i hit tab, it goes to the next level in the list, instead of just tabbling over? and the same for the delete key?

and where can i get some templates?

thanks in advance

You can find user-contributed Pages templates at iWork Community

You'll find a lot of information from other users in Apple's Pages forum (you do have to register to post but not to read).

I think you might be asking about tabbing to fields in a form. That would be something a database would do. Pages doesn't do that. There have been a few threads lately about lists, but don't seem to cover what you are asking.

thanks, i found some templates at iwork community, but they do the same thing.

i can do this in Word.....all it is is when i press tab, i want to indent and have the bullet indent as well, that's basically it....

For Pages, use cmd+] to 'increase indent level' and cmd+[ to 'decrease indent level'. You should use this rather than tab as in Word. A bit strange, but OK once you find the keyboard shortcut. You can make these changes post-writing with the Inspector as well (Text->Tabs->Indent Level).

Hope this helps.

thanks, but will this work with the bullets also? i'm gonna try it right now though.

EDIT: it worked! thanks! :)
