Hi all
I have just bought a Liteon eNAU608 DVD/CD burner following recommendations that it would work on a Mac Mini online (never again!) from Amazon buyers in the UK. The external hard drive comes with a twin attached small & large USB and a longer USB cable with NERO software disc that also includes the software installation.

However, on my new Mac Mini I just can't seem to get the system to mount on the Mac. Going through system profiler I can see that the system is recognised, but how do I get it to actually link up? Any ideas?

You say "external hard drive"...are you talking about a second component? That Lite-On is a disk burner only.

The NERO software is for Windows and will not install on a Mac. You'll have to use the Mac's built-in burning or a third-party app.

You may have to plug both full-size USB plugs into the Mini to get it to work properly! See this.
