Literally: I have computer bugs

I moved my G5 to a different spot in the house. I have spotted at least 5 ants in the last 2 weeks crawling on the computer. I know they love to chew wires but I don't know if they can get in.
Do I need to move it? Weird I know but beyond bug spray, any ideas?

They can get in, you might want to put ant traps around ... and call an exterminator.

best to chain it down and put it in on a desk or something... dont want them ants jacking your mac and bringing it back to the hive. those 5 ants were scouts... before you know it you'll have a $#!@ storm of ants swarming your mac...

Sounds like the Texas Crazy Ants. They love eating electrical stuff. Look for it on you tube. lots of vids. When they get into the circuitry they short it out.

instead of making it so they can't get in your computer... why don't you make it so they can't get in your house??
