Hiya fellas,

SO, As with most 2006 Macbooks, my wrist rest has finally cracked along the front edge, and I need to replace it.

I understand that this little guy comes with the keyboard pre-fitted, but I have a rather odd question; this MacBook was purchased in 2006, but all of the accessories for keyboards (covers and the like) all show a large 'Left Shift' key directly next to the 'z' key.

On mine, there is another key between thse... I have a small 'Left Shift' key, then a key that gives me these two characters ` and ~ and then the 'z' key.

The layout is British as is the store from where I purchased - does anyone have any ideas? I used Mactracker to check my model, and its deffo the late '06 Core 2 Duo model, not the early 2007 unit, as I used a process of logic an elimination (6x drive, not 8x, Core2Duo not CoreDuo etc)

All of the outlets that carry the keyboard and rest all have larger shift keys, so i suppose:
1. Can I use the one with a larger shift key?
2. If not, does anyone have one to sell, or know where I can get a smaller shift key board from (UK-based, or international shipping)

Thanks peeps!
