Sarcasmville.
I've actually noticed it almost since the first day I had it, there's a little tiny divot on the OLED display and you can see it when the light hits it just right (picture a dent on a reflective metal surface). It's much easier to see in outdoor lighting away from direct overhead lights.

It might be in a layer above the actual LED part because the images aren't distorted around the area (that I can notice).

Anyone else seen this? Gonna try my luck at the Apple Store.

EDIT: Regular SS

I think I remember reading a post or thread from a user who had a bubble under the glass. The screen is adhered to the OLED as I understand it. Not sure if that what you are seeing.

My SS is _perfectly_ flat. The sapphire is like a perfect mirror and the screen is perfectly uniform.

If you're still within your return window I would go back to Apple with it.

Does Apple allow you to buy a brand new one right there right after you return the old one ?

I've had this one since launch day (awh, I missed the 3 month anniversary), so returning it isn't an option. Not that I want to return it, anyway.

Just a simple swap for one that doesn't have this issue.
