Hello all. I recently discovered something on my MBP 2017 within the hinge. It looks to be connected to the display but I’m not sure? I basically baby this thing since I’ve had it. But the other day I happen to inspect the inner hinge and saw what looked to be a plastic crack or something. I used a magnifying glass and it doesn’t even seem to be of the same material as the hinge. Just looks like a clear piece of plastic or maybe glue? Idk. I can’t actually make out what it is or if it was always there. The good thing is that everything seems to be working ok but I am a little concerned especially with what I’ve learned about Flexgate display issues. Not sure if this little issue is related or not. Hopefully the pics are able to show it and someone can explain what I’m looking at. Thanks.
