Hey guys is there any program or way to look up the s/n and stuff of your OS? Cause I can't find my hard copy anywhere and I need all that information. thanks

Go to 'About this mac' and then click on where it says the version of your OS, your SN should be there, (sorry not 100% sure because on a windoze PC at the moment)

The Mac OS itself doesn't have a serial number – however, you can find out the serial number of the Mac itself, if that's of any use to you.

Select 'About This Mac' under the Apple Menu and, in the little information window that pops up, you'll see it lists the version number of the OS you're running. Click on this twice and it'll tell you the serial number of your machine.
