Not a major problem, I just want to know if I'm the only one having this.

When I set the Finder window to icon view there is this little slider in the bottom right corner of the finder window that makes the icons larger or smaller. Worked fine in 10.6, doesn't do anything in 10.7. The icons just remain in the same size.

I have this on both my Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro.

Everything works as expected on my MacBook with Finder in Icon view.

Macman45 do you have the Status Bar enabled in the View settings in Finder?

Never really noticed if this was always there in Lion as I mostly use Column view instead of Icon view anymore.

Macman45 that's strange that you have no slider at all. Maybe it has something to do with view options.

I'm at work right now where I still have have 10.6, I'll post a screenshot of what I mean in the evening.

I use column view most of the time too, so it's not a big deal. I just wanted to ask this for weeks now and finally thought about it while sitting in front of a computer. :)

Edit: Here is the screenshot. That slider should make the icons bigger and smaller, but does nothing.

You're right.

If I am in the column view, and then select a folder in that view, and then change to icon view it displays the icons in a window but the slider doesn't work.

If I am in icon, coverflow or list view, and then select a folder in that view, and then change to icon view the slider DOES work.

Sure looks like a bug; I can't imagine a reason for it. I'm in 10.7.2.
