Little Snitch Alternatives?

Anyone know of any Little Snitch alternatives that are just as good but are freeware?

I just bought the program.

I never found a comparable program, but I treat this like looking for a Dreamweaver-esque program that is free. Bleh.

If you are looking for a program that does everything another, costlier ones does, but free, you are looking for the holy grail.

Just buy it. Little Snitch does not cost much as it is.

I'm finding a lot of great programs at small prices, but you know how it is. $30 here, $25 there, $35 over there....it all adds up. So just basically looking for alternatives of each one.

I love the new beta of little snitch solely for the network monitor (and the interface) are there any apps that are like the network monitor aspect?
