Little Snitch keeps reporting:

The application "DirectoryService" wants to connect to 209.86.66.123 on UDP port 88 (kerberos)
-also for tcp

shortly after start up. The message box pops up 4 times. I have never seen this before on my system. I am on a powerbook last rev, 10.4.10.
Does anybody know why its doing this?

It's registered to EarthLink. Is that your ISP?

i get this too, i also have no idea what it is.

My guess was that it was to do with Version Cue in the CS3 suite:rolleyes: , probably wrong though

any ideas?

Actually I am at work now and have the powerbook hooked up to the network. I am getting no notification from little snitch. It must be something with my home network. I have the same ISP at home and at work (cox) but at work it is a business account (duh). So the IP is static at work. Perhaps it has something to do with DHCP?

-I do not have CS3.

I just spoke with cox and they definitely do not authenticate or cooroberate, nor any other 'ate' word with Earthlink.

I do have apache running and he said perhaps it is somebody mucking about.

I do not know. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
