OK so im using LittleSnitch and it keeps turning itself off every 3 hours like it does on the demo version..... I have it registered and when i turns itself off i can just turn it back on. This is getting really annoying. Is there anything i can do?

i think his point is that it is a bug in the program and we would both like any available fix as the developers dont seem to have on...........
he is using a serial, although not legal, it should still get the program to work. I'm having the same problem and was wondering if there was a workaround as the problem seems to happen for all registered versions, including legally registered ones
That is strange indeed, but I just wanted to add that my legally registered v2 one shows none of that behavior and never has. There has got to be some bizarre software interaction going on somewhere it would seem.

It is cheap and it really works well — just buy it.
Makes my life a lot easier just for keeping an eye on any traffic in and out.

arkitect does your Mac auto sleep with Little Snitch installed? mines does not auto sleep (tested) and its getting on my nerves especially while mobile at Uni .

Sorry I can't help, I never put the Mac I have it installed on to sleep.

ummmmmm out of context. Read the rest of it. I said the problem happens regardless of the legality of the serial. I said he is using an illegal one and having a problem, a problem that i am also experiencing. This is all irrelevant. Does anyone have an answer or is this thread just going to be troll fest 09?
If you really do have a legal license then speak to the support team. That is what they are there for.
From reading through their forums there isnt any help there. I kinda just wanted to raise the issue here and see if anyone had a solution. dont worry. i can live with it
This used to happen to me with a dodgy licence a friend emailed me! Just spend the money and get a real licence. I havent had a single problem after I bought a real one and the program is more than worth it's small fee! Just buy it!

If Little Snitch was installed, make sure that you remove any trace of it. Then reinstall. After installation, follow the instructions.
-Before you enter Serial, block the following:
Library -> Little Snitch -> Little Snitch UIAgent.app (Deny all connections)
All Applications (Deny connections to hostname obdev.at or alternately IP 80.237.144.65)
-Enter Serial

I did this several times and as mentioned on another forum tried deleting the registration file located at: HD/Library/App Support/Ob Development/Little Snitch
Nothing seemed to work, encountered the same 3 hour timeout as everyone else. I just tried changing the system permissions for the said registration document to "write only". That seems to have done the trick. 4 hours now and counting.
