Hello all,

I have been connecting my HP Z3100 printer (yuk) to my MacPro with a live/active usb cable plus a 30cm extension with great success. Hmmmmm?

After upgrading to SL I am being told by HP utility that the printer is disconnected.

I have tried the HP website with the usual confusion. They say the correct drivers are on the SL DVD.

Is there some sort of limit when using live usb cables?

Any ideas?

My machine is a MacPro 8x3.2 + 8800GT & 16 gb ram

I connect to my printer over ethernet. After I installed SL all signs of the printer's existence are gone. I suppose I need updated drives? It might be the same case for you as well?
