Live Activities Issue

Good evening, I am trying to keep the scores of the football game on my phone but can't get it to work at all. When I go into the tv app and turn on activities it turns right back off if I leave that part of settings. I am updated to the latest beta software.
Am I doing something wrong? I searched and no where can I find where it says how to get it to work. I am also an Apple TV subscriber.

I'm not sure football is supported yet, I've only seen baseball.

The toggle in settings is probably not active yet. It is only the first beta. The live activities in the TV app regarding baseball works whether this is toggled on or not. And baseball is the only thing that works right now(in the TV app).
