Hello guys,
So I am a 20 year old college student and my grandpa lives alone in a big house. He just turned 80 anda month back he fell and broke his pelvis but now he is fine and walking again.

So now I want to install a camera in his room and kitchen and would like to watch the streaming live on my iphone. I have heard rumors that this is possible and have researched a bit but I am totally confused as to what to do.

So can anyone plz help me and tell me what camera(something that is reliable) to buy and what app to use on iphone and how does setup goes.

Thanks a lot in advance, I really appretiate it. This will be a great help as I can watch my grandpa anytime.

Dlink offers wifi webcams that will do this with their free iPhone app. Depending on the camera you get, you can get audio along with video.

there is also something called an iZon. have neverr used it but I flew recently ands it is for sales in the skymall mag :)

It's not too hard to do. I have 4 channel surveillance cameras in my office that I can watch from my iPhone when I am gone. Bought it from Costco for under $400 and set it up myself.

You can find 2 channel systems that allow you to do the same thing if you don't need 4 cameras.

There's an app called iCam that works well. You need a physical computer with a camera hooked up, running the software.

This. I have 2 DCS-930L models set up in my house (kids play room, pool) and they work great with the free app provided by DLink--only $60 each right now.
