As title. I used Live Clock app from Cydia on my 3G and 3GS and loved it. I emailed Ryan Petrich (the developer) recently to see when he was going to update it for iPhone 4. Unfortunately due to other commitments he wont be working on it anymore. He said if i was a developer and wish to help out the source code is available (i have the web address).

So, anyone care to help ? Its WAY beyond my skills.

If you do want to have a go, reply on here and i'll send the link via PM.

Thanks

Tony

I loved that app on iOS3. Unfortunately, on 4 I've relegated the clock to a folder and therefore a bit useless to me. Anyway, it's great of you to get this going again for those that don't have it in a folder.

sounds like a great feature and would be interested in getting this.
i assume that it will only display on the standard iphone icon?

Yes, it changes the default apple clock icon to a clock that runs live time

while i loved this on my 3gs i now like a homescreen clock setup(like weatherFurik has) which will show your clock on ALL pages(not just one icon)

and ofcourse we can SSH the clock to have a date if we like or move it anywhere on the homescreen.

i would still like to see the liveclock on ip4 but for now im liking the homescreen clock/date/weather setups we have out now...

screenshot showing clock, date, current and 3day weather on ALL homepages.
