Live streaming

Hi!

I'm looking for a software-hardware solution to do live streaming to a website, just like people broadcasts videos and tv sports on justin.tv, but I want to do it on my own website and with NO relation to justin.tv because I think you can just live stream to justin.tv and embed the video on any other website..

Is this easily posible? what do I need?

Usteam.tv is another good place to do your live stream; I have seen live streams embedded on sites other than just the stream service (like the TWiT network; they do that) but I don't know how to do that. I wouldn't think it would be very difficult though.
