I like the idea of Apple Music actually having a live streaming station like Beats 1 even though I don't like the music. I hope they come out with more live stations. Too me I find that live stations play much more variety and as long as I like the music format I don't care about skipping songs.

Now as for playlist stations I really can't stand them. I subscribed to all the services with these you can skip songs you don't like. I find very little variety and I litterly hear the same 20 songs over and over again. Now first with Slacker they don't even play some of the right tracks. There are crappy live and instrumental versions I hate. Then it is not this song again, skip this again skip close the app. I am cancelling it again.

I even had Pandora and they were worse. There 80's playlist station sounded like horrible Sirius 80's when they messed up the great XM 80's. There 90's station with was about 90% of songs I already owned being played on there and I only have a few 90's CD's mostly greatest hits albums.

Google Play music playlist stations I thought would be better. Nope same thing same songs over and over again although much less live and instrumental songs but since I subscribe to play music I end up going to the artist album and listen to the album with lesser know good songs I am not tired of.

Then we come to services like Soma.fm all live streaming stations for free. More variety. So what if I can't skip songs. If I don't like a song I just choose another station like I use to do when I was a kid and teen listening to FM radio. Then there is RadioTunes another service that has all live streaming stations I tried to go without but after a few days of shallow Slacker and Play Music playlist stations I signed up for it again because it is a paid service.

I wonder if Apple Music playlist stations are better?
