Well, my mom has a Droid and they have really cool live wallpaper applications. They move with the screen when you scroll along pages and they can have cool effects like poping or moving when you tap your finger to move the screen to a different page or they have snow falling down over the homescreen etc etc.

This isn't a theme that changes menus or icons ... So why can't someone create something like this and submit to the iTunes store?

I think it would be an awesome idea both for iPhone and iPad.

Thoughts, comments, questions?

Right, but why can't they be available for a non-jailbroken phone or iPad?
Also wondering if anyone has tried submitting a live wallpaper application...

It kills battery life pretty quickly. Apple is against any apps that effect overall performance like that.

I used Vwallpaper for like a day and got rid of it because it was slower than I would have liked. Plus the whole moving wallpaper gets old, at least to me.
