Do you think we will be able to add our own live (or dynamic) wallpapers to iOS 7? Its been a question thats been haunting me since Beta 1 release.
Based on how Apple likes to maintain control I'm going with No
I wonder if we will see a dynamic wallpaper for sale like they sell ringtones? Sony sells dynamic wallpaper for the PS3.
I wish we had more of a selection. Right now, there's only 2 available and that's no fun.

Didnt Tim Cook say they were going to open up more iOS at at D11? Probably he was referring to something else.
You can use a panoramic picture for wallpaper though , correct?
I know its not a 'live' wallpaper but that is still pretty cool I guess.
The panoramic wallpaper option still needs a little work. It pans too quickly when you move your phone around.
It doesn't even pan on my device.
Tim Cook was referring to the APIs that developers will have access to.
where are you getting the wallpaper from? I'm choosing a panoramic picture I took with the phone's camera.
Even with Parallax turned off the panoramic wallpapers still pan.
I took it on my iPhone on IOS 7.
There is only 1 way to set a pano wallpaper. You have to go to settings app, choose Wallpaper, Scroll down to the section called 'My Panoramas'.
There.
If you go to your photos app and open 'My Panoramas' and click the button to make it a wallpaper, all you will get is the paralax effect.
thanks! works great! can I use others pictures or does it only work when I take picture myself?
Its works for most panoramas you find. However there are some which may have glitches. (ie the panorama will show up on only half the screen). Right now its hit or miss you just have to try them and see what works.
