I'm looking at picking up a copy of ChannelStorm's LiveChannel software to do some live multi-camera coverage. ChannelStorm says the software supports multiple cameras, but only one DV source (because of a limitation in QuickTime, apparently.) They say to use QuickTime compatible capture cards for multi-cam work, but they aren't very clear as to which cards to use.

I don't know if anyone here has worked with LiveChannel -- but if anyone has worked with it and has any suggestions, I could use them ;) :)! In the mean time, I'm off to email ChannelStorm.

As per David's reply, I see that Wirecast has a pretty good reputation, and is another of the Vara software products that the Flip4Mac company bought. At a glance, these (Screenflow, Wirecast 3, Videocue) seem to be pretty competent packages. I'm gonna at least see how the trials work. Anyone else, do post back and comment if you've tried them.
