iOS LLC advice

I am not a lawyer, and don't necessarily expect any to frequent these boards, but I would appreciate a little advice. Should I go through the hassle of forming an LLC before making a decent profit first? Is it possible to retroactively create an LLC or do you need tax IDs and such for the iPhone Enterprise SDK? Thanks in advance.
