What is this?? In the mail app after I delete all of the messages this pops up. Something like that and then underneath it's like "4 unread, 0 read" or something. If I touch it the spinner comes up but nothing happens. Confused....

It should load more messages.
Your inbox downloads a certain amount of messages to your device, you can then load more should you need to go further back in your inbox than what's currently on the device. Maybe the other 4 messages are rather large and that's why the spinner was doing it's thing?
It's happened to me. I have used the Load More Messages optiona few times. One time it sat and spun for a LONG time. I gave up and checked on my laptop when I got home. I saw an email with 20MB with of pics in it and thought that may have been the issue.
