Loaded old Carrier File- Possibly Causing Battery Drain

I got MMS and Theathering working using the old carrier file. I notice that the battery drain is quick, after 1 call about 10%. My wifes phone was not updated and her battery is fine. Is it possible that the carrier file is causing the drain?

i had this same experience. My battery tanked after I installed the old carrier file. I'll hold off for an official solution.

Did you revert back to the delivered file? If so has it gotten better?

Do a complete restore and set up as a new phone

i went ahead and did a full restore and started with a blank slate. I didn't even restore from a backup. Not sure if that was necessary but that worked.

This include the online hack that adds a network profile for tethering? I actually removed mine and I still get the tethering option. Don't know about battery life though.
